Ibidunni Olufolake Demuren – Ilori was born in Lagos on the 5th of October, 1969. She earned her First School Leaving Certificate at Ireti Girls Primary School, South West, Ikoyi, Lagos in 1982, WASC in 1987 from Ireti Grammar School, South West Ikoyi and her N.C.E. in English/History from the Ogun State College of Education in the year 1990. She went ahead to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the Ogun State University in 1994 and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from the esteemed Nigerian Institute of Journalism in 2017.
Mrs. Demuren – Ilori was a teacher at Solomon Grace International School, Lagos between 1996 and 2000. She began her Civil Service Career in March, 2000, as an Information Officer II on Grade Level 08 under the Ministry of Information and Strategy, after which she was deployed to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in 2001. She has served at several Ministries and Agencies namely, the Civil Service Commission, Printing Corporation, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Ministry of Home Affairs and Culture, Blood Transfusion Agency and the Local Governments, Training and Pensions Office. In June of 2019, she was deployed to the Motor Vehicle Administration Agency as the Asst. Director, Public Affairs.
Mrs. Demuren – Ilori is a member of both the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and the Nigerian Union of Journalists. Her hobbies include singing, travelling and writing. She is happily married with children.
