MVAA HOLDS ITS FIRST CLIENT REPRESENTATIVES/PUBLIC FORUM

As part of effort to strengthen relationship between the Motor Vehicle ADMINISTRATION Agency and Client Representatives and also enhance the ease of doing business in the state, the agency held its first client representatives/public forum in the state at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium Alausa Ikeja, recently.

The General Manager of the agency, Mrs Lape Kilanko in her welcome remarks, highlighted some important issues affecting the registration of Motor Vehicle in the State most especially those relating to the relationship between the client representatives, MVAA staff and other related agencies. She advised that a cordial relationship is key so each of them will do their parts to make vehicle documentation easier and more accessible to Lagosian.

The General Manager frown at client Representatives who registers stolen vehicle documents for clients as it is an inappropriate and punishable act. She urged the client representatives to protect the image of the Agency as well as a responsible middleman between the Agency and its Clients.

Kilanko also spoke on the introduction of the new identity cards for the client representatives in order to officially register and identify those that are authentic from spurious ones. The identity card is to be renewed every five years. New members were accredited and certificates were also issued to both the old and new CPs recognised by the state. She implored the client representatives, staff and general public to stay tuned to ‘’Your Side Mirror’’ Programme on Traffic Radio 96.1fm from Friday 4th June to Friday 23rd July by 9am so as to contribute and send in complaints as the programme unfolds
