MVAA HOLDS ONE DAY INPLANT TRAINING FOR STATION MANAGERS

In fulfillment of one of the pillars in T.H.E.M.E.S agenda of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu in aspect of education and building human capacity in Lagos public service, MVAA organized a one day inplant training for the station managers across the state.

The training which was held at the State Treasury Office Resource Centre recently themed; Enhancing Revenue Growth in a Covid-19 Era: Management Strategy.

 The general manager, MVAA, Mrs. Lape Kilanko when addressing the Station Managers in the state said that “we are training our staffs in compliance with the governor’s directive on learning, unlearning and re-learning, therefore urged the station managers to learn now as it is not all the time that these workshops will be put in place, saying the workshop is meant to do old thing in a new way due to Covid-19.”

The GM advised the Station Managers to take up courses on Learning Management System, Online training initiated by the Governor of Lagos State and pass it up to their subordinates to also improve themselves added that it is not always about selling of plates and issuing licenses, disclosed that no knowledge is wasted, but we should change the ways we do things severally, the learning train is on now, we shouldn’t be left out, she said.

Mr. Bidemi Aliu, one of the resource facilitators of the training discussed about the Strategy Control and Revenue Growth matching Strategies with Revenue objectives, Conceptual framework, Strategies and business achievements.

Also, Mr. Sola Gbadamosi in his own presentation, dwell on Enhancing Revenue and E- Commerce in MVAA, he emphasized on the current budget, concept of Balance Scorecard, the benefit of Balance Scorecard and Public Sector.
