Saka Oladimeji Saheed, an Assistant Director, Administration and Human Resource was born on 6th November, 1973.
He started his educational pursuit at Akinbaye Primary School, Isolo, where he obtained his first school leaving Certificate. He proceeded to Ansar – Ud- Deen Comprehensive High school, Okota, Isolo and the Lagos State University where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. He also had Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM).
He commenced his work career with the Lagos State Government in 2001 and has since spent virtually his entire work life in the Public Sector.
He started with the Lagos State Board of Internal Revenue now Lagos State Internal Revenue Service and later moved to the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Ministry of Health, Public Service Office, State Treasury Office and Lagos State Safety Commission.
Oladimeji is very passionate about safety and health in the society and consistently participates in activities and programmes designed to bring the desired change to the state in particular and the country in general.
In this aspect he has served as a member of the Lagos State Government delegate to attend the World Congress On safety & Health at Work (2017) in Singapore; member of the Lagos State Government delegate to attend the African Launch of Vision Zero in Abidjan, Cote d’ Ivoire; attended WCSH ( 2021) in Canada.
He is a Member of the Committee set up by the Lagos State Safety Commission to realise the vision of zero harm in work place in the State . Oladimeji is an active safety Champion in Lagos State Ministry of Transportation with interest in Intelligent Transportation System as effective Accidents Prevention Strategy in Smart city.
Saka Oladimeji Saheed is presently with the Lagos State Motor Vehicle Administration Agency (MVAA) as the Director, Maintenance Unit.
His hobbies are: Creativity, reading, travelling and exploring.
